The SCU Pep Band is the official band of Santa Clara Athletics. Intent on creating an energetic and exciting game day atmosphere, the Pep Band performs at all men’s and women's basketball games and at select soccer and volleyball games. The Pep Band also supports the University at other events across campus, such as Preview Days and Grand Reunion. 

Established in 2005, the Pep Band prides itself on being student-run and consists of undergraduate and graduate students. The band features an array of traditional instruments including flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone and sousaphone, as well as a drum line complete with cowbell and cymbals.
