SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Former Santa Clara men's basketball player Bill Duffy will be honored at the annual Pasta Feed and Bronco Legends Celebration on Saturday, Feb 23.

Duffy was a member of the Santa Clara team from 1979-80 through 1981-82 and went on to become a successful sports agent, representing a number of high-profile athletes, including fellow alum Steve Nash.

The ceremony will take place at Malley Center beginning at 5:30 p.m., ahead of the men's basketball game against San Francisco, which tips off at 8 p.m. in Leavey Center.

The event includes a buffet, beverages, face painting and performances by the Santa Clara dance team.

Duffy, a 6-foot-4 guard from Pomona, California, led the Broncos in steals as a junior and averaged a team-best 15.2 points as a senior. He was a member of the 1981-82 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District VIII team.
