Annual Day of Giving Set for March 7 - Santa Clara

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University's annual Day of Giving is set for Thursday, March 7.

Last year, thanks to the generousity of Bronco Nation, Santa Clara Athletics programs combined to bring in more than $330,000 from 1,738 gifts during that 24-hour period, which went directly to support each sport.

For more information about how your donation can help a program, check your favorite team's social media account. There are multiple sport-specific challenge gifts this year that will double the impact of your donation. In addition, a donation of $1,000 or more will enter you in a drawing for a pair of tickets to the opening round of the US Open Championship on Thursday, June 13 at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

"The support Bronco Nation has shown our student-athletes and coaches year after year on the Day of Giving is extraordinary," director of athletics Renee Baumgartner said. "Whether you give to the Athletic Excellence Fund, Bronco Bench Foundation, or to any one of our 20 Varsity programs, your gift has a direct and immediate impact on our student-athletes' success on and off the field."
