Schott Athletic Excellence Center Donor Wall Campaign

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Stephen C. and Patricia A. Schott Athletic Excellence Center is nearing completion and Santa Clara supporters have an opportunity to have their name etched in the state-of-the-art training facility for our student-athletes.

One of the features of the two-story, 50,000-square-foot facility is a Donor Wall, which stretches from floor to ceiling with a variety of brick sizes, in the Degheri and Locatelli Lobby.

To date, individuals and families have made donations toward more than 140 bricks, but there are still between 25 to 45 spots available depending on the requested size. A gift as low as $2,500 is all that is needed to see your name adorning the wall, and that donation may be pledged over a five-year period. Brick sizes range from between 4 x 12 to 18 x 32 inches.

Another benefit of a commemorative brick on the Donor Wall is that each donation will be matched as part of the O'Malley Challenge (up to $750,000) thanks to the generosity of Christine '01 and Pat O'Malley. That matching gift will be designated toward athletic scholarships.

Construction on the Schott Athletic Excellence Center is scheduled to be completed in late September.
