Day of Giving - Athletics Website
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -The 2020-21 academic year has certainly provided challenges.
Santa Clara Athletics has been fortunate to have teams compete this spring, but there have been financial hurdles to overcome.
This year's Day of Giving, set for Wednesday, April 21, is especially important as all proceeds support the 'Stampede Together: Continue the Momentum Campaign' that launched in October 2020 to mitigate the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funds raised provide for student-athletes in the areas of sports medicine, academic resources, nutrition, COVID-19 testing, sports performance and fifth-year aid.
Supporters can designate their donation on the Day of Giving to any of the school's 20 NCAA Division I sports, the Athletic Excellence Fund, or the Bronco Bench Foundation. There are also several 'Challenge Gifts' totaling more than $150,000 to be unlocked or matched.

The support on 2020 Day of Giving was record-breaking thanks to the generosity of Bronco Nation combined to donate more than $800,000 through 1,818 gifts during that 24-hour period.
