Carina Cusumano is in her second year with the Santa Clara Broncos. She serves as the medical coordinator for the softball program. Before becoming a full-time Athletic Trainer with Santa Clara this summer, Cusumano was a Graduate Assistant from 2018-2020 at Santa Clara, providing care to cross country, track and field, and men’s tennis.
Graduating from the University of Missouri in 2018, Cusumano earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree in Athletic Training. Cusumano then went west to San Jose State University to earn her Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training.
Cusumano grew up with a parent in the United States Marine Corps and has lived all over the world; she currently lives in San Jose. She enjoys going back to her roots and rooting the KC Chiefs to victory, as well as coordinating the staff scare contest in October.
