Josh Gray was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director of Academic Services in May of 2019. He is entering his fifth year working at Santa Clara, previously serving as an athletics academic advisor.
Gray currently acts as the academic advisor for men's basketball, women's soccer, men's tennis, women's tennis, and women's softball. In addition to his duties within the academic services department, he serves as the sports administrator for the men's and women's cross country and track teams.
Gray graduated in 2016 with a B.S. in Economics from Santa Clara, where he served as a manager for the men's basketball team during all four years. In 2020, he received his Masters of Educational Leadership, also from Santa Clara.
Prior to his time at SCU, Gray worked as a Social Media Strategist for a sports media startup. In his free time, he enjoys being active outside, traveling, going to the beach, and rooting on his favorite professional teams: the Giants, Lakers, and 49ers.
