The Santa Clara cross country team is in a training camp this week in the Santa Cruz area. Last weekend Robbie Reid was Santa Clara's high-finisher at the USF Invitational, running a 25:52.30 8K personal best to finish 10th. Reid, a sophomore from Los Altos, Calif. who led his track team to the El Camino League title his senior year, hopes to be a sports agent after he finishes his Business degree at Santa Clara.
The Santa Clara cross country teams hosts the Bronco Invitational Sat., Oct. 18 in Sunnyvale.

Reid: Some company
SCU: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy?
Reid: A track for SCU
SCU: What is your favorite quote?

SCU: What is your greatest accomplishment?
Reid: Qualifying for the California State Meet for both cross country and track and field in High School

Reid: Robbie, Rob dog

Reid: Tom & Jerry

Reid: Green Street Hooligans
SCU: Goals this season?
Reid: I want to run sub 25minutes in the 8k; finish as the top Bronco at the West Conference Championship and NCAA Regionals; and earn All Conference honors
SCU: Where will you be in 10 years?
Reid: Hopefully be a successful sports agent
SCU: What was your favorite event in the Olympics?
Reid: I loved them all, so I can't really narrow it down to one. But the highlights were both the 100 & 200 meters, and both the 400 and 800 meters
SCU: If you could run any road race in the world, where would it be?
Reid: Boston Marathon
