The Santa Clara University men's and women's cross country teams opened their seasons with solid efforts from both squads at the USF Invitational in Golden Gate Park in cool, foggy conditions.  Stanford won both the women's and men's races.

"Our objectives today were to run together at a comfortably hard pace and really make an effort to stay together through the finish," said Bronco head coach Felipe Montoro. "I thought both teams executed really well and we are all looking forward to racing Saint Mary's next week."

Both teams return to their next action on Fri., Sept. 6th when they host Saint Mary's for a dual meet at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale.
