Enjoy reconnecting, food, drinks and playing bocce at beautiful Golden Gate Park in San Francisco with fellow SCU alums and friends! The SCU cross country team is hosting its first annual Alumni Bocce Ball Tournament and Social. The event is scheduled to begin at 12 pm on Sat., June 28th.
You don't have to be a cross country runner or a pro bocce ball player to attend - we welcome all Santa Clara alums and friends to attend! Just come out and have some fun with friends on the second Saturday of the Summer.
The registration cost is just $75 with additional donations encouraged, which will go towards the team's goal of covering costs that directly benefit its student-athletes. These costs will include the services of a bio-mechanical running expert and a sports chiropractor, both of whom are experts in preventative care and improved performance.
Registration includes pizza, beverages and team bocce. If you are not able to attend the event but would like to make a contribution you can support the teams by donating online. Go Broncos!
