SANTA CLARA, Calif. — All in the Santa Clara University community are invited to attend the 2nd Annual SCU Cross Country Bocce Ball Social on Sunday, June 14. Come celebrate the beginning of summer and help raise funds that support Bronco Cross Country and Track. The event will begin at 12 p.m. in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.
"This bocce event was a lot of fun for everyone last year, so we definitely wanted to do it again this summer," said Bronco Cross Country and Track Head Coach Felipe Montoro. "Our aim is to provide the best possible experience for our student-athletes. That is paramount for us. So with this year's event, we are hoping to raise enough money for a team trip to the Marin Headlands for three days and two nights."
Reunite with former teammates and relive old camp stories, enjoy drinks and food in beautiful Golden Gate Park while supporting the Cross Country and Track teams.
