AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17): (XC) Ran five times in his debut season ... season-best 8-kilometer 25:12.5 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational.

(TRACK) Ran twice at 800 meters and twice at 1,500 meters during his first season on the track with the Broncos ... doubled up for season-best times at 800 meters (2:02.61) and 1,500 meters (4:08.24) at the Kim Duyst Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16): Did not run.

PRIOR TO SCU: Graduated from Bishop Amat High School in 2015 ... high school coaches were Daniel Lodolo, Jim Deurmier and Blayze Fimbres … cross country/track captain junior and senior year … Lancers were CIF-SS champions, CIF-State Division IV champions and Del Rey League champions during Gonzalez’s time with the team … earned First Team All-San Gabriel Valley, First Team All-League and All-CIF honors.
