AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16): (XC) Ran the 8k at the USF Invitational in 27:20.1 in his Bronco debut … ran a 7250m time of 24:05 at the San Francisco State Quad Meet … ran a personal best 8k time of 26:56.7 in the Open race at the Bronco Invitational … finished with an 8k time of 27:20 at the Banana Slug Invitational.

(TRACK) Ran once at 800 meters, twice at 1,500 meters and four times at 5,000 meters in his first season on the track with the Broncos ... 800-meter season-best 2:07.27 at the Woody Wilson Classic ... 1,500-meter season-best 4:19.84 at the Kim Duyst Invitational ... 5,000-meter season-best 15:47.32 at the Johnny Mathis Invitational.

WHY O’HAGAN CHOSE SANTA CLARA: “I chose Santa Clara because I want to be surrounded by individuals who are on a mission to better themselves, first and foremost, as men and women for others. I liked how Santa Clara wants to challenge me as much I want to challenge myself. I’m studying in the Civil Engineering department, but I’m also looking forward to taking classes in philosophy and psychology, among others that I’m sure I don’t know yet.

The challenge to better the whole individual is remarkably present in the cross country program. The passion with which the coaches and captains lead the team is inspiring and I look forward to that example every morning when it’s early and I want nothing more than to sleep. The team gives me something to look forward to that is greater than myself, and I am thrilled to be a part of the success that I see the team having this year and in the coming years.”
