SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara cross country has added one runner to its class of 2021 with the signing of Janie Nabholz. The Illinois native currently attends Glenbard West High School.

Nabholz earned all-state honors in the 4x800 relay last year, in which she and the Hilltoppers took fourth place. She anchored the team's 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800 state qualifying relays.

As a freshman in 2013, Nabholz helped Glenbard West cross country win a 3A state championship, the first such title in program history. She also has a background as a soccer player.
