SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara track and field returns to the track after a stretch of nearly three weeks between competitions this week at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival. The Broncos are slated to run in six competitions across four distances Friday and will round out their spring break meet with 800m events on Saturday at Cox Stadium.

"This meet marks the unofficial beginning to our spring campaign," head coach Felipe Montoro said. "The meets leading up to this point have prepared us for the most competitive portion of the outdoor season."
