AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18): (XC) CoSIDA Academic All-America® Nominee … West Coast Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention … competed in all six cross country meets... took sixth among his teammates and posted a season-best 10k 31:59.4 to help the Broncos finish second out of 12 Division I programs at the Chile Pepper Festival ... ran a season-best 8k 24:49.6 and finished fifth among his teammates.

(TRACK) Competed in five track and field meets and ran in four events … in the Woody Wilson Invitational, posted a 1,500m 4:13.78 … in the SF State Distance Carnival, ran a 3,000m 9:37.42 … at the Aggie Open, clocked a 2,000m steeplechase 6:12.98 and finished first in the event … ran a season-best 3,000m steeplechase 9:37.42 at the SF State Distance Carnival.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17): (XC) Ran five times in his debut season with the Broncos ... 8-kilometer season-best 25:12.6 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational ... 10-kilometer season-best 33:35.6 at the NCAA Division I West Region Championships.

(TRACK) Competed five times in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and one time at 5,000 meters during his first season on the track ... won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a 9:56.21 at the Johnny Mathis Invitational ... 3,000-meter steeplechase season-best, team spring-low 9:40.23 at the Oxy Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic ... 5,000-meter season best 15:53.70 at the West Coast Last Chance Open.

PRIOR TO SCU: (XC) Team was two-time 4A state champions (2013-14) … 2014 team set three class school records in fastest 5k times … finished third in state XC meet in 2014 … First Team All-State 2014 ... (TRACK) 3rd place in 3000m in the state track meet in 2016 ... 3rd place in the 1500m at the state championships track meet in 2015 … coached by Tommy Manning and Ian Berge … (SKI RACING) two-time 3rd-place finisher in state (2015-16) … 12th at the West Region Championships as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL PRS: Had a personal best of 15:53 in the 5k … had personal bests of 2:02 in the 800 meters, 4:07 in the 1500m and 8:50 in the 3000m.

PERSONAL:  Parents are Howard and Ann Davidson … has an older brother, Jonathan … mother was a standout on the Stanford track and field team helping the Cardinal finish 2nd at the 1982 NCAA Cross Country Championships … also finished seventh in the 10000m at the 1982 NCAA Track and Field Championships … mother is also a five-time world champion in her age group in the triathlon/duathlon … father is a pediatrician … member of the National Honor Society in high school … hobbies include skiing, whitewater kayaking, soccer, and running.
