QUOTABLE — HEAD COACH FELIPE MONTORO
"Janie Nabholz had a great meet, running a strong leg in the DMR and coming back with a solid 800 meters despite getting out very fast over the first 200. Hannah Wood and Marisa Sanchez both put forth great competitive efforts as well."
"We struggled in the men's mile, which was a surprise based on the personnel and their current level of fitness. I'm looking forward to getting back to work with that group and preparing for its next race."
"This was a great trip overall. It was a really fun competition and a great experience for our student-athletes to run on a true 200-meter banked indoor track. We will strongly consider adding this or a similar event to our regular schedule."

Santa Clara concludes its brief indoor season by heading back to the Northwest for the Washington-hosted Husky Classic next Friday and Saturday at Dempsey Indoor.
