
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Santa Clara track & field spent Saturday in the state Capitol as five runners took part in the Sacramento State-hosted Hornet Invitational. Joey Berriatua led the way with a third-place finish in the men's 1,500-meter run, clocking a 3:49.97.
Hannah Wood and Brynn Sargent doubled up at 800 and 1,500 meters for the Broncos. Janie Nabholz (800 meters) and Greer Chrisman (400-meter hurdles) rounded out the small Santa Clara contingent at Hornet Stadium.
