
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara track & field is ready to race in two meets as part of a Southern California road trip this week. The Broncos will compete in the Mt. SAC Relays (Walnut, California Thursday-Friday) and the Beach Invitational (Long Beach, California Friday-Saturday).
"Mt. SAC and the Beach Invite are both highly competitive and have huge fields," head coach Felipe Montoro said. "Mt. SAC is always one of the premier regular-season track meets in the NCAA and we are excited to be a part of that action."

LAST TIME OUT
Santa Clara raced its way to four section victories on Saturday at Woody Wilson Track as part of the Woody Wilson Classic. Emma McCurry and Aditya Mohan captured sections at 1,500 meters while Khiely Jackson and Brennan Lagerstrom outraced their competition at 800 meters.
Christian Raslowsky posted the best overall finish by taking fourth place in the men's 1,500-meter run with a 4:02.01. The sophomore lowered his personal best by more than two seconds in the process.
Hannah Wood was the top finisher for the women in sixth place at 1,500 meters (4:43.52) and doubled back to finish second among Broncos with an 11th-place 2:17.12 at 800 meters.
