PORTLAND, Ore. — Christian Raslowsky won the men's mile and three more Bronco runners outpaced their sections Sunday at the Portland Indoor. Raslowsky clocked a 4:13.20 to top the field of 48 and set a new venue record at Chiles Center.
Lacey Yahnke captured her 800-meter heat with a 2:25.46, good for ninth place of 22 runners while Daryon Baynard took fifth place of 30 runners with an 800-meter heat-best 1:57.92. Josh Simboli captured his mile heat with a 4:20.33, good for sixth place, and Aditya Mohan won his 3,000-meter section with an 8:33.72 to take eighth place in the field of 58.

Head coach Felipe Montoro: "I'm really proud of how the guys raced today. As a group we were able to keep the focus on competing and the results showed that. I'm looking forward to seeing continued progress at our home meet on the 22nd."
Associate head coach Pete Cushman: "This was a solid team season opener. We showed a little rust in some events, but we are on the right track and I thought we did a good job competing."
