My inspiration comes from being around so many hardworking teammates, friends and family.

Two truths and a lie.
I graduated from high school at age 16.
My family has three dogs and five chickens.
I am named after a Jane Austen book.

Favorite class at SCU so far?
I loved my Honors 20 Difficult Dialogues seminar course. It helped me discover the passion that I have for environmental justice, especially related to food sovereignty and sustainable agriculture.

Hobby outside of sports?

Why did you choose Santa Clara?
I found my sport very late in high school. I ran only one full season of cross country and track my senior year but fell in love with the sport. Santa Clara offered me a generous academic scholarship and my coaches were willing to let me walk onto the team. Though studying engineering at Santa Clara also comprises a big part of my reason for being here, I would make the choice to attend Santa Clara again and again because of my team and the opportunities that SCU has given me to lead, train and compete.

"I graduated from high school at age 16" is the lie.*
