SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University baseball team's series finale against Saint Mary's on Sunday has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been tentatively re-scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 2 p.m. in Moraga, Calif.
Steady rain at Louis Guisto field on the Saint Mary's campus made the field unplayable as the head coaches from both sides agreed to re-schedule the game.
The Broncos will return to action next weekend in Spokane, Wash., as they take on Gonzaga University in a three-game series. Due to final exams next week for Santa Clara, the series is scheduled to run from Saturday through Monday. Saturday and Sunday's games are scheduled for 1 p.m., while Monday's game is slated for a 2 p.m. start.
