Baseball Adds Home Game Against San Francisco State on Tuesday

April 7, 2005

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - After rain wrecked havoc on the first two months of the Santa Clara baseball schedule, the Broncos have added another home game to make up for one missed earlier in the season at San Diego State. Santa Clara will now host San Francisco State on Tuesday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at Buck Shaw Stadium.

In addition to the added game, Santa Clara will swap home games with Stanford later in the season. Originally, Santa Clara was slated to host the Cardinal on April 26. However, that game has been moved to Stanford's Sunken Diamond. The Broncos will now host the Cardinal on May 10 in Stephen Schott Stadium. Both games are set to begin at 6 p.m.

Tickets for the game with San Francisco State are available by calling 408-554-4660 or at the ticket booth at Buck Shaw Stadium prior to the contest.

Tomorrow, at 9 a.m., ticket sales for games played at Stephen Schott Stadium will be opened to the general public through the athletic ticket office and via the Internet at www.SantaClaraBroncos.com. A special package of reserved seat tickets to games in the new Schott Stadium is currently available for the price of $81. An order form is available here.

Tickets are priced at $10 for reserved seats, $6 for adult general admission and $3 for youths and seniors. Members of Bronco Kidz are admitted for just $2 with their membership card. Members of Ruff Riders and all SCU faculty and staff are admitted free. A seating diagram for Schott Stadium is available here.

The Broncos will return to action tomorrow night when they host San Diego in a three-game West Coast Conference series at Buck Shaw Stadium. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
