Lodging and meals will be included in the overnight camper cost. Overnight campers will reside in on-campus residence halls for the duration of camp and will take their meals in Santa Clara's dining facility. Each prospect will receive three meals a day and have a healthy variety of meals to choose from.

Last year, the Santa Clara Baseball coaching staff designed and implemented the summer High School Prospect Camp to attract top-quality baseball talent to the Bay Area campus. Its goal is for prospects to experience first-hand how the game is taught and played at Santa Clara as well as giving prospects an opportunity to be viewed and evaluated by the Santa Clara coaching staff.

Participants will also have a prime opportunity to train and play in one of the finest college baseball facilities on the West Coast in Stephen Schott Stadium. Constructed in 2005, Schott Stadium features a player-friendly 6,800-square-foot home dugout and clubhouse which includes a training room, equipment storage and laundry facility, team room and a beautifully furnished 5,000-square-foot team room.

Schott Stadium also features one of the most sophisticated video analysis systems in college baseball. The system includes not only the recording of practices and games, but also allows players to improve their tools by receiving computer and digital breakdown of their mechanics and the ability to compose individual DVDs for further review.

In addition to utilizing all of Schott Stadiums facilities and offerings, prospects will have the chance to participate in morning, afternoon and evening practice sessions and receive individualized instruction from the Santa Clara Baseball staff and area coaches.

Prospects will play approximately eight games in a highly-competitive environment during the camp and will also participate in on-field sessions specific to pitching, offense and defense as well as off-the-field sessions with Santa Clara's sports psychologist, strength coach and academic support coordinator.
