SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara baseball team will play its first home series of the season this weekend, taking on Albany in a four-game stanza beginning on Friday at 4 p.m. at Stephen Schott Staduim.

Friday's tilt was originally scheduled to start at 6 p.m., but due to weather concerns has been moved up to 4 p.m.  Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. and Sunday's single game finale will also start at 1 p.m.  All game times are subject to change with the rainy weather forecasted this weekend in the South Bay so stay tuned to SantaClaraBroncos.com, @SCUBroncos on Twitter, or @Santa Clara University Bronco Athletics on Facebook for the most up-to-date information about the games.

The Broncos are 0-3 after going winless against defending-national champion South Carolina last weekend in Columbia, S.C..  Albany is 0-1 after falling to San Jose State in 17 innings, 6-5, on Wednesday evening at Municipal Stadium in San Jose.  The two teams have previously met only once before, which was last season on March 30.  In that game Santa Clara bested the Great Danes, 6-5.

No changes to the rotation are expected for Santa Clara.  Freshman lefty Powell Fansler figures to start on the mound in game two of Saturday's doubleheader.  Albany will start Friday's game with lefthander Ryan White and Saturday's first game with righty Zach Kraham.

Live stats for all four games will be available on PrestoSports' Prime Time.  Live video will be available via Santa Clara's portal on StretchInternet.  Links for both can be found here.
