Santa Clara Baseball Set to Unveil New Three-Camera Video System for Streaming Games

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – With the season opening on Friday, Santa Clara baseball has implemented a new video system at Schott Stadium to improve the online viewing experience for fans. There will also be live audio provided by John Nash on play-by-play and Brandon Rebboah on color for the majority of home games. As always, free live stats will also be available at www.StatBroadcast.com/SantaClara.

"This is a huge upgrade for our program and a great development for our fans," said Santa Clara director of baseball operations Ben Campopiano. "Now everyone can watch our home games online with great video and audio broadcasting. We are really excited about this and know our fans are going to love it. We are extremely grateful to the Santa Clara Athletic Department and Sports Information Department for making this happen."

"Brandon and I are really excited to be doing nearly every Santa Clara home game this season," said Nash. "The improved video system is going to be a great complement to our audio broadcasts and I think it will make it even easier for Bronco fans to follow the team closely all season long."

In the past, one camera was set behind home plate as the only view for those steaming on www.SantaClaraBroncos.com. This season, however, a new three-camera operation will be in use. A single user in the press box will operate the cameras and decided which shot goes live over the internet.

The new cameras are located on the visitor's dugout, behind home plate and on the home dugout. The cameras are standard definition but the picture quality is much better than in years past.
