Nielsen singled to left to bring in another run before Couch got out of the inning.

Trace Hansen led off the third with a double to left and Law served a single to right field to knock in another run. The offense continued with a one-hop double off the wall in left center that brought in the fourth Cougar run of the night. For the second time in as many innings, Favero hit a sac fly, this one to right field, to extend the lead to 5-0. Nielsen singled right back over Couch to bring in another run and end Couch's night. D.J. Zapata came in and ended the inning with a grounder to second.

Harisis led off the bottom of the fourth with his second home run of the season to get the Broncos on the board. Perry followed with a four-pitch walk and moved to second on a passed ball. Casey Munoz advanced Perry to third with a ground out to first and T.J. brought in the second run of the inning with an infield single to short. Kyle DeMerritt reached first on an error by the shortstop that put runners on the corners but Takahashi grounded out to first.

Brugman led off the top of the sixth with a double off the right center field wall. After two outs were recorded without Brugman advancing, Jarvis hit a RBI single to right to push the Cougar lead to five at 7-2. Chris Mendoza came in from the bullpen and gave up a RBI single to Nielsen off the glove of Harisis at third.
