SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Diamond Brunch, a main fundraiser for the baseball program, celebrated a weekend of Bronco baseball with alumni, supporters and family on Saturday.

The brunch was held at the Leavey Center concourse to listen to special guest speaker Jerry Howarth ('68), who was the radio play-by-play voice of the Toronto Blue Jays from 1981 to 2017, and Associate Athletic Director of the Bronco Bench Foundation, Rusty Weekes.

Among the 70 plus attendees included two members of the latest Santa Clara Athletics Hall of Fame class, Kevin Dunton (1982-85) and Mike Pereira (1970-72) along with players from the golden era of Broncos baseball (1962-72) that featured six conference titles and a College World Series appearance in 1962.
