Paul Moeller joined the Santa Clara University baseball program in October 2019 as an assistant coach after having worked at Walbeck Baseball Academy the last seven years including the last year as the Director of Instruction. Along with his duties at the academy, Moeller also served as the junior varsity head coach at Folsom High School during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
In March 2020, Moeller added the role of Director of Analytics within the Bronco program.
The Folsom, California native pitched for one season at San Francisco State, where he was a starter and a reliever. Moeller also spent two seasons at the University of the Pacific and one at Cosumnes River College. He also played summer ball in Alaska for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots of the Alaska Baseball League as well as for the Marysville Gold Sox of the Great West League.
Moeller earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from San Francisco State University and is working toward his master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University.
