"Idaho State has three guys we knew could really shoot the ball on the perimeter. We saw a lot of tape on them so it was not a shock to see them make a lot of shots. But, to continue to do it shot after shot after shot after shot eventually becomes frustrating. They shot over 60 percent from the three-point line. You don't really see that very often.
One thing that is encouraging for us is that we've got other guys starting to score a little better. Brian (Jones) is going through a little bit of a little drought right now (offensively). Some other guys have stepped-up and started to make some baskets.
(On the final play) The players asked if I wanted a timeout. We knew we were structured enough that we knew what we wanted to do on our press attack if they pressed. I don't think I could have taken the players aside (during a timeout) and said 'Okay, here's what I want to do.' I'd rather catch people a little bit off-guard. I looked at Brian (Jones). He didn't want a timeout and wanted just to push it. Kyle Bailey was very poised, very under control and did a nice job."

"I was actually hoping to get the ball. I wanted the opportunity (to take the last shot). I wouldn't say that Brian (Jones). We need the whole team to step in and make shots to be successful. I think we are playing better and that we are prepared going into conference games. We've grown together as a team and I think we'll do well now that the most important time of the year is here."

"We feel pretty good (going into conference play). We still have a lot of things we can work on. Idaho State was a tough test for us. They beat us last year. We need to be able to make shots to be successful. They were 8-for-11 for the half from the three-point line. It seemed like on every shot we had them covered or we had a hand in their face and they were still knocking them down. It was really pretty incredible. Kyle's shot was a huge shot. It took a lot of courage to take that shot. We really didn't have anything organized and he stepped-up and made it.
I wouldn't say Brian (Jones) is in a slump. I think the other teams are really zoning in on Brian because he is our best players. The other teams are gearing their whole defense on stopping Brian from scoring. We need Jaime and Kyle to do a great job for us to be successful."
