Jamie Homes "We knew we (should be) able to rebound on (Saint Mary's). It really came down to getting some stops on defense and securing the ball on the boards. We were trying to push it in transition and we got some good rebounds. The coaches told us that I would get a lot of good looks tonight. I thought I'd be open a lot and I was. I got the ball inside and was able to put it in. I either got an easy look or got fouled. Saint Mary's has a lot of talent but they just haven't put it together. It is a lot of fun playing this game because it is a rival game. This game is always a lot of fun."
Dick Davey "(Jamie Holmes) has been working on his shooting a little extra and he is starting to get his confidence back. He went for a couple of games where he didn't knock them down as effectively. He has also been on a little bit of a free throw run lately. He has a pretty decent touch for a bigger guy. The concept of our possessions was to try to milk it encough to see if we could get an inside look. If we didn't have it, then we looked for a wide open shot on the outside. We also tried to get it out on transition as well."
