The Santa Clara University men's and women's basketball teams will be playing in the 2001 West Coast Conference Tournament, hosted by the University of San Diego Thursday through Monday at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
The No. 2 seeded Bronco women will open with a first round game against seventh-seeded Portland Thursday at approximately 2:30 p.m. Santa Clara's game will follow the Pepperdine vs. San Francisco game that starts at noon.
The third-seeded Santa Clara men will open on Saturday against No. 6 seed Loyola Marymount at 6 p.m.
