Friday's Men's Hoops Game To Be Televised

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Friday's Santa Clara University men's basketball game at Gonzaga University will be televised by Fox Sports Net and will be carried live locally by Fox Sports Bay Area, according to the network's listings available at www.foxsports.com.

The game, scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff, will mark the West Coast Conference opener for both teams and will feature the two winningest teams in the league over the last eight seasons. Gonzaga is currently ranked 18th in the nation after completing its non-conference schedule with a 13-2 record. Santa Clara is a disappointing 5-8 but is currently in the midst of a four-game win streak.

All Santa Clara men's basketball games are broadcast on the Bronco Radio Network, which consists of flagship station KDIA-AM (1640) in Vallejo, Calif., KSCU-FM (103.3) in Santa Clara and on the Internet at www.SantaClaraBroncos.com. All home games, as well as most away games, will also feature a live statistical feed available on the Broncos official athletic site.

The Gonzaga game will be one of at least four television broadcasts of Bronco basketball during the WCC season. Sunday's game at Portland will be televised in the Portland market by the Action Sports Cable Network, the Jan. 26 game against Loyola Marymount will be broadcast by Fox Sports Net and the Feb. 23 game at Pepperdine will be televised by Fox Sports West. In addition, the WCC Tournament championship game will be aired live on ESPN.
