Portland, which twice overcame 10-point deficits to take a lead, didn't have enough manpower to stay with Santa Clara down the stretch. It was the Pilots' eighth straight loss.

The Broncos then regained the advantage with a three-minute run including four 3-pointers, two by Ethan Rohde. That streak was capped by a 3-pointer from Bailey that put Santa Clara ahead 67-58 with 9:28 left.

Santa Clara put the game away with a 10-3 run that made the score 77-64 with 3:01 remaining.

Portland dug itself a hole early by missing its first six shots of the game while Santa Clara hit 6-9 for a 13-0 lead.

Coky Rochin added 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Pilots, giving him his 11th double-double of the season. Rochin is now tied for second place nationwide in that category.
