Jan. 30, 2002

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara senior men's basketball standout Steve Ross will be the guest subject in a live chat on ESPN com on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

Fans can submit questions early on ESPN.com by clicking here.

Following in the footsteps of fellow Canadian Bronco men's hoops star Steve Nash, Ross is a senior forward from Victoria, British Columbia. Having grown-up just five minutes from Nash, Ross is one of Canada's top junior players and has developed into one of the most dangerous offensive threats in the West Coast Conference.

Averaging nearly 17 points and 5 rebounds per game through the first half of the season, Ross has registered two of the most impressive offensive games in the country this season. He poured-in a career-high 38 points in a narrow 83-81 loss at nationally-ranked Gonzaga, which included an amazing 25 second-half points. He also shot 5-for-5 from behind the three-point arc in the second half en route to a 31-point performance in a Bronco win over Loyola Marymount in WCC play.

Ross will not be stopping by until 5 p.m. ET on Tuesday but you can send your questions now by clicking here and we will save them for his arrival.
