SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Darrell Tucker tallied his 13th double-double of the season by scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead San Francisco in a 77-59 victory over Santa Clara Saturday night.

The Dons' John Cox turned in another stellar performance, adding 20 points and a season-tying seven assists.

Forward Steve Ross scored 13, while Kyle Bailey and Justin Holbrook each added 11 for Santa Clara.

The win gave San Francisco its third straight victory.

The Broncos went on a 10-3 run to open the second half, cutting San Francisco's lead to seven. The Dons answered with 10 straight points, widening their lead to 53-36.

San Francisco's improved defense forced 12 turnovers, resulting in 17 points. The Broncos made only eight of 22 3-point attempts and shot 38.7 percent from the floor.

Tucker scored in double digits for the third consecutive game. Eleven of his 17 first-half points in the first five minutes of the game gave the Dons a 15-8 lead. Cox added 10 first-half points.

San Francisco limited Santa Clara to a 22.2 shooting percentage from the 3-point arc in the first half. The Dons also had five blocks, with four coming from center Hondre Brewer.

Tucker's free throw with two seconds left capped first-half scoring, putting the Dons up 40-26.
