LOS ANGELES (AP) - Steve Ross and Kyle Bailey scored 20 points apiece to lead Santa Clara to a 67-59 win over Loyola Marymount on Friday.
Ross scored 18 of his points in the second half as the Broncos (13-13, 8-5 West Coast Conference) won their fourth straight.
Santa Clara went on 11-2 run late in the first half to go up 28-25 at the break, and they extended the lead to 38-27 with a 10-2 run to start the second half.
The Lions (9-18, 2-11) closed the gap to 45-44 on Greg Lakey's short jumper with 10:11 remaining, but Bailey and Ross combined for 17 points in the final 8:00 to seal the Santa Clara win.
Andy Osborn scored 18 points to lead Loyola Marymount, which lost its 10th straight game.
The Lions shot 32.4 percent (22-of-68), including 20 percent (5-of-25) from 3-point range.
