SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Santa Clara University men's basketball standouts Kyle Bailey and Steve Ross were among 10 players named to the all-West Coast Conference men's basketball team, the league officed announced.

The selection of Bailey and Ross marks the third-straight season that two Broncos have been named first-team all-league and the 13th consecutive season that Santa Clara has had at least two players receive all-conference honors.

"Steve and Kyle really are deserving of being named to the all-league team," said head coach Dick Davey. "They both mean a great deal to the success of our team. There are some great players in the West Coast Conference and it is a really tremendous accomplishment to be named to the all-conference team. I'm really proud for both of them."

Ross, a senior forward from Victoria, British Columbia, leads the Broncos and is fifth in the WCC in scoring with an average of 15.8 points per game. He is also among the top five in the league in free throw and three-point percentage and should finish the season among the school's leaders in those categories.

Bailey, a sophomore guard from Fairbanks, Alaska, is the team's second-leading scorer with an average of 13.4 points per game and is sixth in the WCC in assists with an average of 3.78 per game. He scored a career-high 30 points against Gonzaga at the Leavey Center and has led the Broncos in scoring in seven of the last 13 games.

Santa Clara enters Saturday's West Coast Conference postseason tournament with a 13-14 overall record and an 8-6 mark in league play. The Broncos are the tournament number three seed and will play sixth-seeded Saint Mary's Saturday night at approximately 8 p.m. at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on the campus of the University of San Diego.
