SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The annual Santa Clara University men's basketball alumni game that is scheduled for February 8 will have a new wrinkle to it this year. This year's contest, which will begin at 2 p.m. in the Leavey Center, will be broadcast live on SantaClaraBroncos.com for the first time in history.
Last year over 50 basketball alumni returned for the weekend full of activities that included the annual game. The same type of turnout is anticipated for this year's festivities that will culminate with the 2003 squad's game against San Diego at 7 p.m. that evening.
Like all men's basketball games this year, the alumni game will be heard world wide via the internet with long time voice of Santa Clara Basketball, Dave Lewis, calling the action.
