SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) - Roy Morris scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half to lead San Diego to a 78-66 comeback victory over Santa Clara on Saturday.
Jason Blair scored 18 for San Diego (12-9, 6-2 West Coast Conference). Jason Keep, the league's leading scorer and rebounder, finished with 12 points and eight rebounds.
Jim Howell scored 16 points to lead Santa Clara (11-10, 2-6), which lost its third consecutive game. Ethan Rohde added 14 points.
San Diego took control of the game early in the second half with a 24-2 run.
Before that, Santa Clara began the second half with six consecutive points to go ahead by 14, 45-31, the largest advantage of the night. The Broncos did not make another field goal for nearly ten minutes, however, allowing San Diego to pull ahead.
