As people around the world reflect back today, Sept. 11, on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Bronco sophomore basketball forward John McArthur is one of nine basketball players nationally to be featured in a piece this weekend on ESPN.com by Eamonn Brennan on their memories of 9/11 and how it changed their lives.
McArthur is featured in tho photo to the right at Ground Zero last spring. McArthur, his Bronco teammates and coaches visited Ground Zero last spring when in New York City for the CIT Final. It left a lasting impression on the team. Bronco head coach Kerry Keating, who lost friends in the collapse of the World Trade Center, said at the time "visiting here lets the players learn about life."
