Santa Clara Announces Mobile-Optimized Partnership with StatBroadcast

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University will partner with StatBroadcast® Systems for its upcoming 2011-12 athletic events. StatBroadcast® will provide live streams of statistical information via the web and mobile devices for fans of Bronco athletics and media members covering the University for several of the school's varsity sports, including men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.  

Try it out tonight at the exhibition game with Ryerson at 7 pm in the Leavey Center! And at the women's basketball exhibition vs. Sonoma State on Tues., Nov. 8 at 7 pm.

Santa Clara's live stats will be carried on the StatBroadcast® system and be available on the web via links from the athletic department's official website at www.SantaClaraBroncos.com.

In addition to stat feeds available via the web, StatBroadcast® will be coordinating the launch of a mobile-optimized site, capable of streaming the live stats data to web-enabled cell phones and devices, including the iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and iPad. These stats will be available for fans on the go, including those attending athletic events on the Mission Campus.

StatBroadcast® has been providing technology and media relations support for athletic events for the past 10 years.  StatBroadcast's statistics technology is used nationwide at over 30 universities, 10 bowl games, and conference and national championship events, including the BCS National Championship Game and the NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball championships.
