Returning all five starters this season including two All-WCC players in Marc Trasolini and Kevin Foster, Santa Clara University announced Wednesday that Bronco men's basketball season tickets are now on sale to the general public. In addition, the Santa Clara team will travel to Durham, N.C. to play at Duke on Dec. 29 in a 9 am Pacific game to be televised on ESPN2. It will be Santa Clara's second visit to Cameroon Indoor Stadium, having dropped an 86-80 game on Dec. 27, 1971.
For just $100 fans can now purchase a Bronco season ticket package that include a ticket to each of the 20 scheduled home games in the 2012-13 season. Select home opponents include the 46th annual Cable Car Classic, NCAA tournament participants St. Mary's, Utah State, Gonzaga and BYU; and UC Santa Barbara and Southern Methodist who are now coached by former NBA head coach Larry Brown. The full schedule will be released in the next couple weeks.
Santa Clara will travel to Saint Louis on Wed., Nov. 14 as part of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic. It will host three home games the next week as part of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic. It will play Utah Valley State on Tues., Nov. 20 t 6 pm, USC Upstate on Wed., Nov. 21 at 8 pm and Eastern Washington on Fri., Nov. 23 at 4 pm.
For the first time in its history, the 46th annual Cable Car Classic will not be held over the holidays, but instead Fri., Dec. 21 and Sat., Dec. 22. The complete bracket will be announced later this month.
