Kratch Lands on WCC All-Academic Team

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Just one day before playing his final home game, Nate Kratch secured a spot of the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, which was announced Wednesday.

Kratch becomes just the seventh player in school history to be selected three times.  

The senior, who was a WCC All-Academic choice the last two years, is in his third season as a starting forward. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology in three-plus years is now pursuing a master's in counseling psychology, maintaining a 3.89 grade-point average in graduate school.

Kratch has played in all 125 games the last four seasons, with starts in 82, including 77 of the last 80. This year, the native of Watertown, Minnesota, is averaging 10.8 points (third on team) and 6.8 rebounds per game (first on the team/No. 7 in the WCC). He is also shooting team-high 49.4 percent from the floor, including 42.7 percent (41 of 96) on 3-pointers.

Kratch and the Broncos play their final regular season home game Thursday against Pacific.
