Brownridge Nabs NABC All-District Honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior Jared Brownridge of Santa Clara men's basketball earned a spot on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 9 First Team.

A three-time first-team All-West Coast Conference choice, Brownridge ended his career second on the school's all-time scoring list and fourth in league history with 2,313 points.

This season, Brownridge is third in the WCC in scoring (18.1 ppg) and first in 3-pointers per game (3.2).

Brownridge is the all-time leading scorer in WCC games (1,272) and was an iron man, playing in all 129 games the last four years.

Nigel Williams-Goss and Przemek Karnowski of Gonzaga, Jock Landale of St. Mary's and Erik Mika of BYU joined Brownridge on the NABC All-District First Team.

Kevin Foster was the last Bronco to earn NABC All-District honors, landing on the second team in 2012-13.

Brownridge helped the Broncos (17-16, 10-8) advanced to the WCC Tournament semis for the first time since 2011 and post the best regular season turnaround in the league. They recorded a five-game overall improvement compared to 2015-16 when they were 11-20.
