Stings Mantova, as the team is commonly known, is located in Mantua, Lombardy, and is a member of Serie A2, which features 32 teams and begins play in October.

Brownridge, a three-time first-team All-West Coast Conference choice, ended his career ranked second on the school's all-time scoring list and fourth in league history with 2,313 points.

He ranks first in Santa Clara history in 3-point FG percentage (40.3), second in 3-pointers made (385) and fourth in free-throw percentage (83.9).

Brownridge helped the Broncos (17-16, 10-8) advance to the WCC Tournament semis for the first time since 2011 and post the best regular-season turnaround in the league. They recorded a five-game improvement (17-16) compared to 2015-16 when they were 11-20.

Brownridge, who graduated last month with a bachelor's degree in communication, has experience playing in Italy having traveled with the Broncos last August on an exhibition tour.
