SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball fans and students can enjoy a full slate of promotions and giveaways during the 2017-18 season.
There are many initiatives to enhance fan engagement and the gameday experience to continuing developing Bronco pride in Leavey Center.
Some of the gameday promotions include:

One of the early-season student promotions occurs on Wednesday, Nov. 15, when the team plays host to Nevada on Neon Night. The first 400 students will receive neon-colored Santa Clara Athletics t-shirts. Then on Thursday, Nov. 30, against Northern Arizona we bring back a popular promotion to Leavey Center - Crazy Dress Night. Fans and students are encouraged to wear their craziest costumes, paint their faces, and deck out in red and white Bronco apparel.
The Broncos host Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Saturday, Dec. 2, and the first 1,000 fans and students will receive Santa Clara Athletics Roller Banners.
The Broncos host Portland State on Saturday, Dec. 9, and the basketball program will welcome Santa Clara University Alumni to take over 'The Rodeo,' the Leavey Center student section, located adjacent to the opposing team's bench. Special ticket prices are available for this game to alumni (details to follow) in the lower level students sections located in sections 104-106. The first 600 fans will receive a Santa Clara Basketball Alumni Poster.
DICK's Sporting Goods Youth FREE Day is back! Children ages 12 and younger receive free general admission tickets on Saturday, Jan. 6, when the team takes on West Coast Conference opponent Portland.
The first giveaway of the New Year is on Thursday, Jan. 11, against Saint Mary's. The first 500 students will receive a Santa Clara Ruff Riders Flag. Foam light up glow sticks will be given out to students and fans during the Gonzaga game on Saturday, Jan. 20, and the Double Rodeo will again be open with additional student seating available in lower reserve sections 112 and 113.
February not only brings the final regular season push for the Broncos, but also features three t-shirt giveaways.
• Thursday, Feb. 1 vs. Pacific - Red Stampede (Red Out): The first 1,000 fans will receive a Red Stampede event t-shirt. Be loud and fill the Leavey Center in Santa Clara red!
• Saturday, Feb. 3 vs. San Francisco - Steve Nash Replica Jersey T-shirt: The giveaway recognizing one of the best players in school history occurs vs. the Bay Area rival Dons. The first 1,000 Bronco fans and students in attendance will receive a Steve Nash replica jersey t-shirt.
• Saturday, Feb. 10 vs. San Diego - Black Out Leavey Center: Join the team in wearing your black Santa Clara apparel against the Toreros. The first 1,000 fans and students through the doors will receive an event t-shirt. Cheer loud for your broncos and wear your black Bronco gear!
Senior Night, set for Thursday, Feb. 22 against LMU, will conclude the regular season home schedule when the team recognizes its seniors.
The regular season begins on Friday, Nov. 10, when the Broncos play host to La Verne. The first 400 students will receive Go Broncos or Go Home t-shirts.
Santa Clara plays one exhibition game, facing Saint Vincent on Friday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. in Leavey Center. Fans can pick up this season's team schedule poster and get their first look at their 2017-18 team.
