Men's Basketball Junior Guard Earns All-WCC Honors for Third-Straight Year

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - KJ Feagin of Santa Clara men's basketball earned first-team All-West Coast Conference honors on Tuesday.

It marked the third-straight season Feagin earned an all-conference nod.

The third-year starting guard is averaging 17.6 points per game (second in the WCC) and 4.1 assists pg (ninth in the league). He has started all 30 games, scoring in double figures in all but four.

Feagin, a junior, rarely comes off the floor, ranking fourth in the league in minutes played (35.0 mpg). He is also third in the WCC in free-throw shooting (85.9 percent).

Earlier this season, he became the 34th player in school history to reach 1,000 career points and currently ranks 27th on the all-time scoring list (1,158).

Feagin was a 2016-17 second-team All-WCC choice and earned a spot on the all-freshman team one year earlier.

The Broncos (11-19, 8-10) are seeded No. 7 in the WCC Tournament, which gets underway Friday. Santa Clara faces No. 10 seed Pepperdine at 8 p.m. in one of two opening-round games that day.
