2018-19 Schedule

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The 2018-19 Santa Clara men's basketball schedule has been completed with the announcement of the newly-designed 16-game West Coast Conference slate.

The Broncos, heading into their third year under head coach Herb Sendek, will play home and away against Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Pacific, Pepperdine, Portland, Saint Mary's and San Francisco, but once against BYU (road) and San Diego (home).

After 14 nonconference games, the Broncos open league play on Jan. 3 at home against the Toreros.

A matchup with Gonzaga on Jan. 24 begins the first of two three-game WCC homestands. LMU visits Leavey Center on Jan. 26 and Portland follows on Feb. 2.

The Broncos close out the regular season with home tilts against Saint Mary's (Feb. 14), Pacific (Feb. 16) and San Francisco (Feb. 23).

Santa Clara plays four of its first six league games on the road, including matchups with Gonzaga (Jan. 5), BYU (Jan. 12) and Saint Mary's (Jan. 17).

Five games against Power Five Conference programs and a trip to the Vancouver Showcase highlight the nonconference schedule which begins on Nov. 9 at home against Prairie View A&M.

Santa Clara will play four games against teams from the Pac-12 Conference, including a home matchup with USC (Dec. 18). There are also three contests as part of the Vancouver Showcase, including a meeting with Washington (Nov. 18) and either Texas A&M or Minnesota (Nov. 20).

The adjustment from an 18- to 16-game conference schedule was introduced in May.

The WCC Tournament, set for its 11th season in Las Vegas, will begin on March 7 in Orleans Arena.

All game times will be announced once the WCC finalizes the broadcast schedule.
