SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara Athletics, Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment, and Salem Media Group will continue their partnership to broadcast men's basketball games.
During 2018-19, at least 25 games will air on either KDOW-AM 1220 or KTRB-AM 860. The audio for the remaining contests will be available through Livestream.com.
Longtime Bay Area broadcaster and voice of the Broncos Anthony Passarelli returns for his 12th season and will once again be joined by former Santa Clara player and analyst John Stege. The broadcasts include a pregame show a few minutes before tipoff and a 15-minute postgame show.
The first broadcast airing on KDOW-AM 1220 is set for Thursday, Nov. 15, when the Broncos take on UC Irvine.
The partnership, which began last season when the parties agreed on a multiyear deal, also includes weekly interviews of third-year head coach Herb Sendek and promotional opportunities for Bronco Athletics.
